The Smartlock Manhole Lid & Frame (MHL-001-HD25-00) is a high-strength underground access cover engineered for telecom, utility, and infrastructure applications. Made from UV-stabilized glass-reinforced polyester (GRP), it provides superior durability while remaining lightweight and corrosion-resistant.
Designed with a coded mechanical locking mechanism, this system prevents unauthorized access while allowing easy entry for maintenance teams. An optional electronic locking system with IoT environmental sensors enables real-time remote monitoring of access and security thresholds. The raised non-slip surface ensures safety, and its compliance with SANS 558 Heavy Duty and EN124 Class B125/C250 standards makes it suitable for a wide range of infrastructure deployments.
